This course introduces students to the fundamentals of performing for the camera as well as preparing yourself to be a professional Actor in the Industry.

Students will learn the basics for any shoot (film, television, commercials, etc.) including different types of camera shots, camera blocking, hitting marks, continuity techniques, and fundamental vocabulary used in the industry.

It will also cover many aspects of marketing yourself in a professional manner (headshots, resumes, demo reels, etc.)

We will work on several types of Audition Techniques (cold reading, self-tape, etc.) and prepare you for situations you may encounter when auditioning, culminating in a full-on mock audition with Industry Professionals watching the “callback” and giving feedback for the final class.
